Timmins Dump gets a new trash compactor

A new-to-you trash compactor is coming to Timmins. The City of Timmins has secured a used Caterpillar Model landfill compactor, to the tune of $580k. The City council has given their stamp of approval. Referred to as the Flintstone, it’s over 80,000 pounds — It has spiked wheels and patrols the landfill compacting garbage.
