Elliot Lake city council approve $250k for land purchase

Elliot Lake City Council has approved spending $250,000 to buy two pieces of land. Just off Milli-ken Mine Road, the land is located near Highway 108 across from the Elliot Lake boat launch off of Milliken Mine Road, at the base of Beaver Mountain. The city’s Economic Development Department will begin to pursue opportunities once the purchase is completed on Dec. 3.
