PHSD issuing letter to Parents – keep your kids home if they’re sick

Public Health Sudbury and District has issued a letter to schools with new directions for COVID-19 screening. In short, The Districts’ Medical Officer of Health, is asking parents and guardians to keep their kids home and get tested even if they present with mild symptoms, including a runny nose. As of news time, there are currently 98 active cases of COVID-19 confirmed at schools in the Sudbury and Manitoulin districts and four schools have been closed.
