The building of the Centre Culturel LaRonde is moving ahead in 2022. That said, plans have been trimmed back on the new building, due to rising costs as a result mostly of COVID-19. The Francophone cultural group has unveiled the newer plan that still has most of the features it hoped for. The biggest difference is that it will be 11,000 sq. feet, instead of 13,000. It all began when the original building had to be torn down after a fire in 2015.
