Purposed Apartment complexes going before cities

An apartment complex proposed for a busy neighbourhood is getting some pushback in Greater Sudbury. Located at York, Prete and Regent streets, the goal is to establish a 32-unit residence. Sudbury Apartment Rentals Ltd. is going before the planning committee next week to seek rezoning on the building that formerly housed the CNIB.

A pair of local property owners are looking to develop the former Drive-in location off of Trout Lake Road in North Bay. Two local property owners are initiating the project on the six-acre vacant lot next to Tim Horton’s. In their pitch to the city, they’re hoping the first phase will consist of 134 senior tailored apartments.
