Police and Fire personnel in North Bay were called to the Thompson building yesterday at around 4 pm. The fire alarm was activated and the building was subsequently evacuated. Police located a small amount of burned plastic in a stairwell of the building. No significant damage to the building or injuries to individuals was reported.
