The city of Sudbury is offering free public transit to seniors aged 65+ during Tuesdays in the month of June, in recognition of Seniors Month.

Four North Bay film productions are getting half a million dollars each from the province. The funding is aimed at helping create industry jobs and raising the profile of the film and television industry in the north.

The Timmins Police Service are the latest group to get a leash on the volunteer-run St. John Ambulance therapy dog program.
