Snow Squalls expected for North Eastern Ontario Tonight

After a mild morning for many, residents across the north may are preparing for more winter tonight. Weather for Sudbury, Timmins and Sault Ste. Marie were calling for snow squalls today. Drivers are reminded that visibility will be rapidly reduced due to the heavy snow combined with blowing snow.
A sharp cold front is sweeping across Northeastern Ontario this afternoon. There have been reports of brief but significantly reduced visibilities in snow and blowing snow from Kapuskasing to Sault Ste Marie with wind gusts to 65 km/h.
This front is expected to pass through Timmins during mid-afternoon and through Sudbury early in the evening.
