Summer in the Park loses $58,000

The bright lights and big sounds of Summer in the Park have come and gone… and now, there is a fiscal loss to discuss. Close to 58 thousand to be exact. What’s more is that the North Bay Summer Festival has an accumulated deficit before this year of just over $126,500. This is according to a recent report to city council. While it’s not clear how much “bad weather” dampened the numbers, a suggestion has been made to move the concert event to Thomson Park and Memorial Gardens.
