Boat driver charged with impaired driving

North Bay police have charged a boat operator following an incident that included a rescue Monday. Two North Bay men in a canoe rescued three people, one of them a two-year-old girl, from water off Lake Nipissing. The two men in the boat were not wearing life jackets, but thankfully the little girl was. She was found safe, floating some distance away.
