Students help with new tree plant

A number of North Bay residents were out today, making the world a little greener. Saint Joseph Scollard Hall students were on hand today to help the NBMCA staff remove 175 Red Pine, White Pine, and Spruce saplings from the Second Avenue Nursery. The trees are being moved to adjacent sloped lot on First Avenue where they will be replanted. The authority says the trees will then grow and minimize storm water runoff into Chippewa Creek.
