Child poverty effected the north?

Child Poverty is something that we know exists in the world, but what about right here at home? That’s exactly what the Child Poverty by Ridings report, issued this week uncovered by the non-partisan group Campaign 2000. According to the report, one fifth of Sudbury’s children are living in a state of poverty, while in Nickel Belt, the rate is about half that. In this largely rural district, one in 10 kids aged 0 to 17 is considered impoverished.
