A number of thefts under investigation

Sault Ste. Marie Police say they have a 42-year-old in custody following a theft. They say it was after the accused went into a business in the 500 block of Second Line East and left with roughly $50.00 worth of merchandise, without paying. Officers already in the area, stopped the accused a short distance away and he was taken into custody.
Elsewhere, Crime Stoppers in Sault Ste. Marie say they’re looking for information regarding two thefts. They say an unidentified male started at a Macs Convenience on Wellington Street West and took $40.00 worth of items, before attending a LIDS store in the Station Mall and took $178.00 worth of product.
Finally, OPP are reaching out the public, looking for information following a theft. They say that the suspect or suspects allegedly entered a home in Iroquois Falls, and took a number of items including jewelry boxes, jewelry, government documents, clothing and food.
