School year not in danger due to “Snow Days” – School Boards

Despite the number of Snow days in a number of communities, including today in Greater Sudbury and Timmins, School boards everywhere are insisting there is no danger of them losing their school year. KFM news spoke to the two schools boards this week, including the rainbow District School board. They say any change to the school calendar, including the usage of P.A. for classroom instruction requires approval from the Ministry of education.
