Police take an alleged thief into custody

Sault Ste. Marie Police have taken a 45-year-old into custody. The Second Line West resident was busted this week for possession of stolen property. It’s alleged the accused took items from a parked vehicle in the 100-block of Bay Street. It’s further alleged he attempted to sell the items at a local pawn shop and left before police arrived.
