Laughren to be new fire chief

Timmins new fire chief could be a that of a familiar face. Former mayor could be the city’s new fire chief. An item in tonight’s agenda includes appointing Tom Laughren as the fire chief. Laughren is a former mayor and councillor, and a volunteer with the Whitney Volunteer Fire Department. He currently works with Tahoe Resources.
