Ontario Northland lays off 31 workers

Ontario Northland in North Bay says it’s issued over 2 dozen lay off notices to workers All in its refurbishment department. The company says gaps in work are to blame, as 31 workers went home yesterday, without a job. The company hopes to rehire the workers “as soon as possible.”
