Phase two for most of Ontario starts Friday
Most regions of Ontario outside of the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area will see more businesses and activities open Friday. That includes restaurant patios, hair salons and swimming pools. Doug Ford also announced an increase yesterday that many are waiting for: An increase in social gatherings from 5-10 people.
Also, places of worship will be able to reopen at 30% capacity. Weddings and funerals, with limits on social gatherings to 10 people.
Businesses and services permitted to reopen with proper health and safety measures in place in regions entering Stage 2 include:
