Power outage for over 4,000 planned tonight in Greater Sudbury

More than 4,000 Hydro One customers in the Greater Sudbury area will be without power roughly six hours tonight. It’s all so that Hydro One can replace a hydro pole. The outage will take place between 7 p.m. tonight and 1 a.m. early tomorrow.

4,162 customers in the areas of Garson, Maclennan, Awrey, Falconbridge, Dryden, Neelon, Hanmer, Scadding, Rathbun, Kelly and Davis.   All Hydro One customers impacted by this planned maintenance outage have been contacted.
