Some in Timmins under a “boil water advisory”

The City of Timmins has issued a boil water advisory for residents in Porcupine, South Porcupine and Schumacher effective immediately. Residents affected are required to bring water to a rolling boil for at least one minute prior to use or use bottled water. The advisory has not offered an explanation of why this advisory has been issued.
