Greater Sudbury tax bills being mailed out in August

For those in Greater Sudbury, the reminder is being given today about your final property tax bills. They’re being posted in August after being delayed by several months as part of the City of Greater Sudbury’s pandemic response.
Normally, those tax bills are due in June and July, but as part of providing some relief to taxpayers who were laid off or unable to work because of the pandemic, the city opted to delay the due date this year. Now, those tax bills will come with due dates of Sept. 1 and Oct. 1, 2020.
