LU Pool remains closed into early September, despite requests it reopens

Some swim groups in Sudbury are hoping sooner than later they can get back to their sport at Laurentian University. The pool, like many places, has been closed. While there are more than 500 competitive swimmers in the area, as far away as Sault Ste Marie who use the water as it is the only 50-meter Olympic sized pool in North Eastern Ontario, the school says getting students back to class safely is their top priority.
