Acts 4:12 “Salvation is found in no one else”

Acts 4:12 says this “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”

Jesus has ascended into heaven and Peter and John have just been arrested for preaching Jesus’ resurrection from the dead and healing a man born lame. They’re placed before elders and the teachers of the law –essentially the same group that put Jesus to death – and it’s here that they are questioned, threatened and asked, “By what power or what name did you do this?” Pete gives the authority to Jesus
