Greater Sudbury Police look to launch drone service

Greater Sudbury Police is nearly ready to launch the first of its drone service. Thus far 8-officers have completed training in remotely piloted aircraft systems, and now have licences through Transport Canada. Drones are used in the search for missing persons, the investigation at some motor vehicle collision scenes and crime scenes.
