Ontario announces March Break is being postponed

The Province of Ontario says the March Break is being postponed until the week of April 12th. Education Minister Stephen Lecce made the announcement today, indicating the hope from the Province is to avoid another increase in COVID-19 cases as seen following the winter break.
Case numbers in Ontario…
Ontario health officials logged 945 new COVID-19 cases today, down from over 1,000 yesterday. That said the numbers are “underestimated” due to further data migration at Toronto Public Health.
 
Meanwhile here in Northern Ontario…
Public Health Sudbury and Districts are reporting 10 new cases of COVID-19. All 10 are in Greater Sudbury and are outbreak related. Meanwhile, there were 2 new COVID-19 cases today by the North Bay parry sound district. (1 in Nipissing and 1 in Parry Sound)
The Porcupine Health Unit is reporting two new COVID-19 cases in the Hearst, Hornepayne area. One case is linked to an institutional outbreak.
