Kitchen fire pegged at $25,000

North Bay Fire Crews responded to a fire today in the city. It all began in the early afternoon on Ann Street with an unattended pot on the stove, and ended with and estimated $25,000 damage done through a grease fire. Greg Saunders is North Bay’s Deputy Chief and says the Red Cross has responded.

Several tenants were treated for smoke inhalation.
