Manitoulin water rates going up?

Some residents on Manitoulin Island will soon see a boost in their water bill. More specifically, residents in Little Current and Sheguiandah will see an increase to water rates of four percent. This is thanks, in part, to the Northeast Town council who passed a resolution at near the end of March to raise the rates across the board. Quarterly, this translates to $305 for those in Sheguiandah while those in little Current are looking at an increase of $103.
