Today’s Victory Verse – Tell people about me everywhere (Acts 1:8)

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere-in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8

Today’s Devotional

This is Jesus talking to the disciples right before he ascends into heaven. This is the last thing he tells them before he sends them out.  And, while it’s easy to focus on being a witness, notice he tells them where to go.  Jerusalem, throughout Judea, was where many of them were from.  “In Samaria” was a place, generally, nobody from Jerusalem
