Travel Advisory issued for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day

Those heading the Christmas Eve service and those expecting to travel tomorrow are encouraged to take care. Environment Canada says for Sudbury and North bay a wintry mix of weather is expected Christmas Eve into Christmas Day. A warm front associated with a low-pressure system is expected to sweep through the region this evening and slowly progress eastward on Christmas Day. Precipitation associated with the front is expected to begin this evening as snow or ice pellets before transitioning over to freezing rain or freezing drizzle.
