So far, so good…. As forest fire season in the Province is off to a slow start with 81 fires in the province so far this year, compared to over 300 at this time last year. There are no fires currently.

Killarney’s main wharf will be getting a $157,000 facelift thanks to some federal dollars.

A section of Judge Avenue in North Bay, between Pollard Avenue and Memorial Drive, will be closed for two days starting today.

Meanwhile, travelling either way between Iroquois Falls and Timmins will be closed for a time today, due to the removal of a disabled crane.
