Facebook Scam Alert

Police from across the North are investigating a scam tied to Facebook, and it goes like this. A doctor from Iraq desperately wants to send a package home, and needs a secure address. He or she friends someone on social media and then sends the fictitious package to their address for a great sum of money. Marie Luglie from North Bay Police says that sob story or not, the best thing to do is ignore the request.
