Cochrane opens their doors

The Town of Cochrane has joined relief efforts for Kashechewan. The city says they’re making plans to receive 200 evacuees from Kashechewan starting today, as part of the precautionary flood evacuation taking place. The town has decided to open the doors, joining with other Northern Ontario Communities hosing the first nations community from the James Bay coast, siting flooding.
