A tentative agreement has been reached between CUPE Local 2073 and the Canadian Hearing Society. If this deal is ratified by both parties, it will end a nine-week strike that started on March 6th. Membership meetings and a ratification vote is scheduled for Friday. Workers could be back on the job as early as Monday.
