$10,000 from the Legion to the Hospital

The Timmins and District Hospital have received another boost, this time, from the Legion. Representatives from the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 88 this week to make a generous donation from the 2016 Poppy Campaign proceeds. They came with a $10,000 cheque. The donation comes at at time when the Hospital says they’re long past due for a revitalization that will enable us to take the District’s healthcare forward.
