Timmins Police seek fugitive, last seen in the Schumacher area

Timmins police are asking residents in the Schumacher neighbourhood to stay indoors while they track a fugitive in the area.

The wanted fugitive was involved in an altercation with the Timmins Police in a hotel parking area earlier this morning.

The suspect fled the scene in a vehicle that was later abandoned in Schumacher.

The immediate area where the vehicle was abandoned remains under the control of the Timmins Police Service as a restricted area for the time being.

The fugitive is Trayvon STEWART, 19, originally of Toronto, and is currently wanted by the Timmins Police Service for a number of serious offences
