Blue Green Algae Bloom in Harris Lake

The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit is advising of blue-green algae bloom. Found in Harris Lake, the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks says it has tested positive for toxins. It can irritate the skin and, if swallowed, could cause someone to be sick.
