Ward 5 seat in Timmins now vacant

Timmins city council is now in the clear to replacing Ward 5 representative Noella Rinaldo, as her seat has been declared vacant. The method for replacing her won’t be finalized until the Sept. 22 meeting. Council has two options, either hold a by-election to fill the position or they can appoint a member to fill the vacant seat.
