Kirkland Lake OPP R.I.D.E. program underway

Kirkland Lake OPP has netted one of their first drivers in their festive R.I.D.E. campaign. It happened on Government Road in Virginiatown. While conducting a check on an operator of a motor vehicle that entered the RIDE program police discovered that the 45-year-old driver was prohibited from operating a motor vehicle under the Criminal Code and that their licence was also suspended under the Highway Traffic Act.
