Volunteer fire fighters sent walking over comments

Some volunteer firefighters in Greater Sudbury say they were cut after speaking out against an aborted fire optimization plan. The plan included the reduction of volunteer firefighters and closing nine volunteer stations. Evidently some volunteer firefighters took to social media, speaking out against the city’s heavily scrutinized fire optimization.
