45,000 trees being planted in Greater Sudbury

With spring in full bloom comes tree planting season, and more than 45,000 thousand trees are currently being planted in the Sudbury area. It’s part of an effort to put more than 2.8 million trees in the ground across Ontario. The project is led by Forests Ontario, a not-for-profit group dedicated to re-greening the province through the support of tree planting, forest restoration, stewardship, education and awareness.
