Police seek tractor trailer in fatal hit-and-run

Sudbury Police are looking for a tractor trailer involved in a fatal hit and run. It happened yesterday in Garson at around 3:15pm in the intersection of Falconbridge Road and Penman Avenue. Greater Sudbury Police say a southbound tractor trailer struck a pedestrian at the intersection but little other information has been released.

Forgette booted from DSAB

North Bay Deputy Mayor Sheldon Forgette has been reportedly been given the boot, from the District of Nipissing Social Services Administration Board (DSSAB). The reason has been listed as a lack of attendance, or for missing too many meetings.
