OPP take a man into custody following a weapons incident

Manitoulin OPP says they have a male in custody following a weapons incident. It all began at around 2:30 pm yesterday when officers were dispatched to a call for service at a residence on Wright Street. In a cellphone alert issued to residents in the area, the OPP reported they were responding to an armed individual in the community and advised residents to stay in their homes and lock their doors.
