More testing for COVID-19 is happening with admitted patients

Health Sciences North says they have five admitted patients who have tested positive for COVID-19. Seven admitted patients are currently being tested for COVID-19 and awaiting their results. Among COVID-19 case counts yesterday into today, Public Health Sudbury & Districts reported three new cases of COVID-19. At least one of the new cases was outbreak-related.

Porcupine Health Unit looking into possible COVID-19 variant

Elsewhere, the Porcupine Health Unit has reported four new COVID-19 cases. Two of those cases are in the Kapuskasing area, with one being linked to the ongoing outbreak at Extendicare
