New COVID-19 cases include one new case at Lasalle Secondary School in Greater Sudbury

Among the new case counts of COVID-19 this weekend. Public Health Sudbury & Districts reported eight new cases of COVID-19 yesterday. One new case was also announced by the Porcupine Health Unit.  Meanwhile, the Rainbow District School Board one person has tested positive for the virus at Lasalle Secondary School. Officials say that the person is at home in self-isolation. As a result of the case, two classes have been asked to self-isolate.
