Development charges being re-considered in Sudbury

The city of Greater Sudbury is considering cost cuts when it comes to development charges. That’s money paid to contractors upon the completion of work. In meeting this week, the benefits of reducing or even eliminating the fees were reviewed. The city says those costs have blamed for the slowing residential construction in the city.
