Rain continues to fall in Northern Ontario

Rain continues to fall across much of Northern Ontario this morning, and while the water content in the snow remains high… it is continuing the melt. Sue Buckle is with the North Bay Mattawa conservation authority and says the ongoing melt will be based on a number of factors.

Elsewhere, it’s going to be an especially cold start in Timmins today, as Freezing rain mixed with ice pellets will continue throughout the morning. According to environment Canada, this is all as a low pressure passes by to the south.
