Snow clearing causes major overages in Sudbury

The numbers are now starting to come in when it comes to winter maintenance in Greater Sudbury. In short, The city received more than 388 cm of snow from November to April or about 13 feet. The year-to-date thus far presents an over-expenditure of approximately $650,000. The biggest over-expenditures were in materials and contract services.

Search for missing man continues

The search for a Northern Ontario man continues. Twenty-one-year-old Nicholas Rivard was last seen March 24th in Cobalt. Last seen on March 27th, the search has now been going for nearly three weeks. Rivard is
