97 guns seized by Greater Sudbury Police

Greater Sudbury Police have published numbers when it comes to prohibited weapons. Specifically, guns of different types seized in the past year and a half. Overall, This is all part of a Firearms Amnesty written into the criminal code 12 years ago. They say that between the October 2016 and March of this year, Sudbury police had contact with 108 community members in connection to the amnesty, collecting 97 firearms.
