Active fires in the North East include two in Greater Sudbury area

There are currently two active fires burning in the Greater Sudbury area and six others burning across the Northeast Region. The Sudbury 22 along the French River is 1.7 hectares in size and under control. Sudbury 21 near Lake Panache is two hectares and under control, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry reports.
