Acts 2:38 – Repent and be baptized

“And Peter said to them, ‘Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.’ ”  Acts 2:38

This is moments after Pentecost,  the first sermon preached by Peter after the resurrection of Lord Jesus and the coming of the Holy Spirit. Its the birth of the church.
